The simple statement I repeat over and over to parents who continually help their children, climb, get up, get in, get over is; "If a child never falls that same child will never learn to get up" and in the same respect "If a child never learns to pull him or herself up on their own how will they learn that important life lesson" It shows them independence, confidence, limitations and courage!
