By: Anonymous http://www.lionswhiskers.com/2011/02/chapter-one-jennifer-and-lovely-k.html#comment-108 Sat, 19 Feb 2011 08:18:00 +0000 http://www.lionswhiskers.com/?p=89#comment-108 I want to thank Jennifer and Lisa for this Blog – and for the wonderful comments and stories they have added personally, as well as what I have read shared by others like me.I am a divorced mom, and felt alone most of the time in raising my children – for many reasons.Either physical distance, abandonment, insulation – whatever the reasons, for me at the time they were valid.I just had to "soldier on" because giving up was Never an option.I was taught early in life to "Do a job right, and get the job done the first time, to the best of your abilities" also, "if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing".There are so many times that advice was my Courage Bridge, however, I see now, it was also a door.Because not reaching out and asking for help when I most needed it took its toll over time.Nothing major I hope, but the emotional wounds run deep and they have taken far longer to heal than I ever thought.Thank You Jennifer for admitting you were scared to "K" and to Dr. Lisa for her wonderful blog post today – what you wrote touched many of those wounds and I hope to heal faster now.
